The history of a family and all-Italian company rooted in tradition and continual research. Because if you believe in the future and sound ideas, you never stop growing. Arcansas has remained a family-run business over the years despite its rapid expansion. We are a well-established company with the ability to define long-term business goals and shape our future at will. We have been designing, producing and distributing profiles for floor and wall coverings, hygienic connection, flooring and the hardware/do-it-yourself sectors in Italy and abroad since 1980.

We are the only company in the sector which can manage the entire production cycle in-house, guaranteeing our customers total control over the end product and the highest quality.

A family history

  • 1980

    Stelio Scriattoli starts Arkansas Corporation in Fano (Pesaro and Urbino, Italy). A small company occupying 200 m2, with 5 employees. His dream? To produce profiles for the building industry on an industrial scale and offer the market an innovative product. A winning idea thanks to which the company started to make a name for itself and, in 1984, relocated to a larger site occupying 1,000 m2in Lucrezia (Pesaro and Urbino, Italy).

  • 1989-90

    Major investments in production technology and most innovative materials on the market led to the presentation of entirely new products in the profile sector: self-adhesive profiles and profiles manufactured on a rollforming line with customized packaging.

  • 1991-1992

    Stelio hands over control of the company to his son, Amedeo. The company continues to grow and, in 1998, revamped its communications with a rebranding operation, resulting in Arcansas srl is born.

  • 1994-1995

    Arcansas relocates to a new site occupying 5,500 m2 in Piagge (Pesaro and Urbino, Italy). Further investments are made in production technology and the development of the product range. The exclusive patented design of customisable display stands for sales outlets is introduced.

  • 2003-2004

    The break-through year: the company embarks on the sale of profiles for organised large retail chains and consolidates its share of the Italian market.

  • 2007-2008

    Arcansas becomes the leading company in Italy in the profile market for large retail chains. The new packaging for metal profiles is introduced.

  • 2013-2014

    Federico, Amedeo’s son, the third generation, enters the company. Exports exceed 30% of the turnover. Arcansas regularly exports to over 34 countries.

  • 2018-2019

    The Piagge facility is expandend and the entire production cycle is relocated to the new site in Mondavio (Pesaro Urbino, Italy). The new Arcansas warehouse in France is opened. The product range exceeds 5,000 items. A system for total product traceability and automated warehouse management is introduced. New finishes for the aluminum, PVC and steel profiles are introduced.
